The Community Bank CD rates brought to you today by Highest CD Rate is operated by the Bank of America. This is also connected to the Department of Defense Overseas Military Banking Program to provide the same banking services our military personal are use to back in the states, but located overseas so they can use it where they are stationed.

At this time the Community Bank has over 80 different branch offices around the world including Germany, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Italy, Japan, Korea, Diego Garcia, Guantanamo Bay Cuba and Honduras. Each branch office is under the Defense Finance and Accounting Services of whom Bank of America is a contractor.

These Community Bank certificate of deposit rates are available for active US military personnel and their families, DoD employees and their families and other US Government employees and their families.

The current CD rates include 90 to 179 day CD that is earning an APY of 0.70%. The 6 to 11 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.75%.

The 12 to 23 month CD is earning an APY of 0.90%. The 24 to 35 month CD is earning an APY of 1.40%. The best CD rates are from the 3 year CD that is earning an APY of 1.80%.

Each of these CDs requires a minimum deposit of $1,000 to open and obtain the posted rates.

The Community CD rates were posted on July 8, 2011 and are still current in August but are subject to change without notice.
