BBVA Compass Bank seems to have all the great deals. In Nov. 2009, we told you about the bank offering a Free iPod Touch with a free checking account. Now it’s offering another great promotion. Until Feb. 28, 2010, you could take advantage of $150 in checking bonuses for opening a new account and more.

Here are the details you need to take advantage of the bonuses:

• First $75: You get the first $75 just for opening a new checking account online. However, you must do so online and signing up for online bill pay by Feb. 28. In addition, you must pay at least five bills online every 30 days (each one grants you $25 each up to $75).
• Second $75: You get another $75 foradding direct deposit by Feb. 28. You must receive your first direct deposit 30 days of your account opening. $75 will be deposited within 120 days of your first recurringdirect deposit.

There is a limit of $150 in bonuses per household.

A $25 minimum deposit is required to open checking accounts with the bank. Residents of the following states are allowed to open accounts with the bank: Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, New Mexico and Texas.
