I’ll be speaking at a free dinner event July 27 designed to help college-bound students, undergrads and their families cope with college costs. If you’re in one of those categories, or someone who advises families who are (such as a guidance counselor or financial services professional), please attend!
I’ll be talking about:
- Why college is a must
- Why so many students drop out and how to avoid it
- Higher costs, deeper debts: What you need to know about student loans
- Finding a career that pays
- Managing your money in college and afterward
Dinner and my talk will begin at 6 p.m. at the Wichita Marriott. At 7:30, a Financial Planning Workshop will be hosted for students and parents.
You must register to attend by clicking HERE.
Questions? Contact Gretchen Holthaus at gretchen.holthaus@wichita.edu.
The program is hosted by the College Access Challenge Grant through Wichita State’s Office for Faculty Development and Student Success.
Please share this with anyone you know who might be able to attend. Today’s families need all the help they can get ensuring their kids get educated to survive in this new economy.
